About the event
Corridor Crushers and Corridor Outdoor Adventures is hosting Scholastic Action Shooting Sports (SASP) Dual and action shooting demonstration at Highland Hideaway Hunting (near Riverside, Iowa) and Amana Sportsman's Club (located at W Ave in Homestead, Iowa 52236)
Format: This demonstration day is to introduce action shooting in the Cedar Rapids / Iowa City Corridor.
The coaches will demonstrate use of the SASP structure.
If you have a .22 rifle or ammo, please bring it with you, otherwise you can watch the demonstration of athletes who have their own equipment.
SASP intro: SASP action shooting is a team-based youth program that teaches safe firearm handling and life skills through speed shooting with pistols. Competitors use a variety of firearms, such as .22 pistols, centerfire handguns, and rifles, shooting at steel targets to score based on time and accuracy. The program focuses on developing discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a supportive, co-ed environment.
