Deer shed spring nature walk

Join Us this spring to search for deer shed and identify local plans that appear early in the spring, evaluate animal prints in public outdoor spaces.

We will meet at a local public space and do some walking, digging, plant evaluation all while we are looking for antlers that deer have shed. Wear comfortable shoes for walking and clothing that you do not mind having burrs on your clothing. For kids who are along on this trip, we will be building a terrarium for you to take home (supplies will be furnished).
